Roses for the ladies

I'm gonna keep this short and simple.

As you know it's the V-day today. It was really swell of the guys from my department in the office to get us girls a stalk of rose each. :) No wonder they disappeared right after we all had lunch together, only to emerge back into the office with a rose each for my other female colleague and I in the room. Awww.. really sweet. My first rose for the year. A sweet pink rose. ^_^

Had a nice simple dinner with Boon Siong [my Lao Ba] after work. We had dinner at Boat Quay's Big Porridge [think that's what it's called]. We both had noodles instead of porridge. I'm not much of a porridge person. Haha... And so we both chilled and chatted about quite some stuffs about guys and girls. Pretty interesting topics being discussed.

Happy Valentine's Day

14th Feb. It's that time of the year again. And as usual, I'm alone. But I'm not fretting about it. It's nice being alone still. Gee~

Was watching a Japanese anime earlier on in the eve [of Sunday]. Here's what I caught from the anime which I found pretty suitable for me current mood. Tsk Tsk...

Born to Race

It had been a very fun day today. I went to the Escape Theme Park at Downtown East Pasir Ris with 2 other friends. We gotten in for FREE! Yippy! Hee... A pity one of them wasn't a dare devil like me and the other. Tsk tsk.. So she spent most of the time watching us go on the rides. But we all had our share of fun, especially on the Go-Kart. Think we all must have raced a minimun of 6 times on those tracks. Woo Hoo Hoo!!! Hell loads of fun! At least this one was so much nicer and faster than the one in Genting. Brooooom Brooom! Speeding was great! I won't get a ticket for this. Hiak hiak! The feeling of overtaking the person in front of you was great! Woo Hoo! I came in first a few times! Go-kart was the best!

We went on the bumper boat too, whereby each of us gotta try hit each other's boat while squirting, shooting water into one aother's boat and faces. Ha ha ha! That was really fun too! *splish splash*

Guess these were my two most fav rides in the theme park then :)

Shitty New Year

It's the eve of Chinese New Year. I should be happy, for I'm able to get red packets soon. Instead, I'm feeling so darn pissed off with myself. Or rather so darn sad and disappointed in myself. Gee, what a way to start my first blog for 2005 [Yes, first blog after so long].

Just last week, something happened to my computer. The taskbar suddenly went cranky and thinking it would be alright to restart the computer to rid of that crankiness, I went ahead with it. Hell, what a big mistake it was. I killed my computer. It went dead. Argh! Stupid me, I should have quickly backed up all my files since I already sensed something wasn't quite right weeks before this murder! That's the lesson for being lazy.

Thought that with a new computer and files copied over from the old drives, my data will be saved. But ho ho ho! Hell no! I was such a fool! Wonder if it's really due to a virus? Data's Gone! All gone! The data in my C drive all gone! Shitty! Sucky! Argh!!!! Why? GRrRrrr!!!!! If only I had done something, like backing up my data constantly. Yeah yeah yeah, it's always an "If only I this.. If only I that... If only.." Ya dah ya dah dah dah argh!

*sulks* Yeah, it's no point crying over spilt milk. It's all my doing. Hope my cousin might be able to help me do something about this lost data bit. If only he would pick up his phone.

*sigh* imagine all my working files of my website and freelance and designs, murdered! And my photos too! All killed! Blood has been shed, a great battle lost! My soilder of data all dropped dead and vanished into thin air! What's maddening is I can't seem to type Chinese text in my new com. How queer!

Think I'm gonna try contact my cousin again... hmm no answer again~ Lalalalala... Im just so fucked!
