New Yr resolutions~

Moi New Year resolutions:

- TO BE HAPPY!
- Stop procastinating too much. Stop being #*@%&$# lazy, get my ass up n get going & doing all the stuffs tat i've been holding up or be planning to do.
- More blading n more vballing! I wan my tan!!!! Mr Sun u hear tat?!?! Dun disappoint me i tell ya!
- Get enuff sleep, i hope i wont hafta really end up being a panda for another yr again.
- Stop being so indecisive! [make up ur mind gal~]
- Being a better person & daughter & friend! [haha... this i gotta see]
- Save up lots n lots n lots for my plans to go backpacking/travelling ard Europe.
- Earn more $$$$$ to save up.
- Get some insurances.
- Abide to the above mentioned n not sway. hee hee... keeping fingers crossed~

Longest Thank you Speech Ever!

Hey u noe wat?! It's the last day of the year 2003! [yeah we know that, u idiot!]. Suddenly felt like doing something I've never done before in my whole life! I'm gonna give a thank you speech to all those who have been an influence and/or made an impact in my life! Thanks my dear friends!

I didnt reply him. Tats the last I've "heard" from him ever since then. I didnt noe wat to reply then. I dun wanna noe wat's gonna happen. Im too numb for anything. I dont hate or love [make tat like instead] him anymore. But Im grateful tat we've crossed each other's path, we taught each other. Looking back now, I wont cry anymore, Im smiling instead. =) Will keep the sweet memories with me n leave the bad ones behind.

Wonder how's he been doing though. Hope all's fine and alrite for him too. No matter wat, we were frens once n hope we still r. Perhaps I might jus give him a call one day... yeah... one day.

im dead pooped~

Oh man, im so tired! I wan my sleep! I can hear the bed calling me! but i still haf stuffs unfinished! Damn! im so exhausted tat i cun budge, practically stoning. *stares at screen*

Finally the last day of the yr eh? Cun say im excited nor really happy abt the coming new yr. But im prepared for wats in stall for the new yr [hope so]. Ive been so caught up with xmas n frens n stuffs over the past few mths, the past few days espically. Din really manage to get enuff sleep due to some reasons [murderer! tsk tsk...] But today has been pretty fruitful.

1. manage to add in captions today [@ work] for the photos i uploaded last nite. haha.. wasting working hrs doing personal stuffs eh? i still have another bunch of photos waiting to be uploaded. hope i wont let tat drag.
   
   
2. met Jan for dinner, manage to pass him the books i help bought. Chatted abt his plans to backpack in Europe in the coming yr.
   
   
3. bought my konnyaku jelly ingredients + rice balls aka tang yuan [seasame seed, peanut, red bean flavours] @ the supermarket
   
   
4. spent 3hrs in the kitchen jus to fix the konnyaku jelly and cranberry + orange concentrated juices mix. it's me 1st time doing these okay! But I had 3 diff kinds of jelly made [well sort of]. >_<
   
   
5. after this it's onto wrapping my xmas pressies for Trixy, Lisi & Syndy. We r gonna celebrate Xmas n NYE together at Victor's place. Yippy!!! looking forward to it! Counting down together while stuffing ourselves with food. Sleeping in together. We gonna haf some food feast! Im bringing the jellies, juice mix n tang yuan [special request from the gals]. Lisi's gonna b making quiche [yummy!]. Syndy's gonna b making potato salad [im going crazy. i love potato!]. Think Trix wld b making fruit salad [*drools*]... guess there wld b some more other food as well. Shall find out more when I get there. boy oh boy.. i can barely wait.
   
   
6. speaking of spending the night over at vic's place with the gals, i hafta get my stuffs packed too. oh bother... its as if im gonna run away from home. hahaa... gotta bring the food n overnite stuffs. boy do i haf lots to carry to work later. darn... but it's gonna b fun celebrating NYE with me great frens together!! I love em! This beats squeezing with the sticky crowds in some club shouting 3 - 2 - 1, Happy New Year! Beep beep beep!! Shall leave the clubbing to some other time then. Think im getting a lil old for tat oredi. tsk tsk...

Christmas eve

Woke up to a fairly moody start in the morning. 1st, missed a call from a friend [must haf slept like a pig]. 2nd, had a kinda bad hair day. 3rd, looked like a panda cos of the terrible puffy eyes n dark eye circles. [as if i dont everyday.. ha]. all in all, mood for the day wasnt right. must haf got out of the wrong side of the bed eh.

At work, i was pretty quiet, not like the usual me. Din really spoke much nor interact with my colleagues/bosses. Sigh... even one of my colleagues wasnt feeling in the right mood either. Wonder wat's gone wrong with the both of us. She asked me ques, i answered em unwillingly & annoyingly. I asked her stuffs, she replied em like we were starting to pick up a fight. We were like pretty pissed off. Sigh.. women! *slaps forehead* can never understand em!

Wat's worst was this...... really made me blood boil. hmm okie.. think boil is too much a word to use. anyway guess wat's gonna happened next really made my day man [sounds better?]...yeah? neh! felt as if the sky has fallen down on me [sounds worse?]... as i was saying.... I received an sms from a gd fren [shant name out who] asking how im gonna b spending my xmas eve. gee.. it's been a long time since she contacted me n vice versa. we used to b pretty close, but ever since she found a boyfriend, we sorta start contacting each other lesser until it gets to a point where we dun even noe wat's happening in each other's life. I was surprised to see her sms, so I gave her a call. But i had a feeling tat she wun meet up with me tonite either.

Anyway the impt thing i wanna say isnt abt whether she's coming to meet me n my godsis tonite. Okay, this gd fren of mine, she's going thru the chinese customary marriage this coming feb. Some time back I've agreed to be her bridesmaid on her chinese wedding day. [gave her my word when she R.O.M earlier this yr] Since we both havent been in much contact n that the day is slowly drawing near, i couldnt help worrying abt it. So I asked her wats the plan gonna b for the bridesmaid over the phone. Like when do i haf to meet her up to see her try on her gown n wat abt the bridesmaid's gown n stuffs. N she replied saying tat i gotta settle the prob of the bridesmaid gown myself. [Wat the #*%@ !!!!!!] She told me i gotta go buy the gown myself. [Another one more WAT THE #*%@ !!!!!!] This is so ridiculous!!!!! Oh man, where m i gonna get a gown? They dun come cheap [for the better ones], where m i gonna find one for tat day? I told her. She still has got the cheeks to tell me tat since its the xmas season, i can scout ard for discounts n get nice ones. Hey, hello! X'mas sales n stuffs r coming to an end. n now u r telling me this so late! Argh!!! GrRrRrr ... im so pissed! Still dare say she wld help me keep a look out. HA, wat a big help tat is. Thanks man!

So can u believe this?! I gotta settle the gown prob myself! I wont mind since she's such a gd fren of mine. But hey it's not my wedding, it's hers! N i tot she shld help me get a gown, like rent one for me or something. Of cos she's bz with her wedding planning n might not haf time to think abt her bridesmaid, but does it makes sense tat i gotta buy a gown for myself jus to b her bridesmaid? N i wont haf any chances/occassions to be wearing it again after tat. It's such a waste of $$$$$! I'm a poor, broke lass, not some rich gal alrite! Later i might even end up doing my own makeup n hairdo tat day itself. [which i know nuts abt, bummer!]

But i really wonder... does the bridesmaid gotta settle her own outfit/gown prob herself? anyone? Wat m i to do? Shld i let her noe i wont b able to b her bridesmaid since i haf difficulties with the gown bit??? But how shld i break this to her? *sigh* But im mad still! GrRrrRrr.......

gathering

Suddenly outta the blues, i received a mysterious call from a guy last nite. woo... who can it be?? how come he noes me while i dun even haf the faintest idea who he is? But fret not, i shall find out the ans the very next nite. im gonna meet up with him ... haha.. well not jus him alone. its gonna b a class outing. a group [ppl in the orientation group back during our 1st 3 mths in SRJC] outing more like it in fact. how exciting. i dun even rem who they r. hell, its been 5 bloody freaking yrs since i last saw those guys man. yes how exciting. wonder if i cld rem em when i see em. wonder if they cld recognise me too. wonder who's gonna turn up. think i oni rem a few of the gals. oh how exciting!

so there I was, outside Kenny Rogers. Kinda nervous, wonder how wld the gathering go. Actually i din wanted to turn up tonite, for its been so many yrs since we all kept in contact. [ive been a bad gal] But as u noe im a gal of my words, n being a curious lass.. i decided to brave thru it! haha.. as if im like some wonder gal. Woo... think I saw someone! Oh dear.. it cun b.. i actually recgonise one of the gals! cool.... Total turn up rate for the nite was 10, including me [7 gals 3 guys]. tats nice.... not too bad, i cld rem the gals' faces [though not all their names], but the guys i hardly cld. heh heh...but its coming back to me a lil.... some of the ppl were still in contact with each other, making me feel bad cos i wasnt. anyway... we sorta give a lil speech each of wat happened to each of us after we left 3 mths of SRJC. had a pretty fun time chatting/catching up. I din really tok much, was pretty shy >_< tsk tsk...

after Kenny Rogers, we all moved off to esplanade for some photo shoots. n a lil more gossiping abt one of the guys n his gf. We gals forever r so "bitchy" afterall..muah hahahaha.... found out one of his weakness with the gals too. how amusing! heh heh.... shall not disclose wat tat weakness is here just in case .... watever :p

Guess it's been a pretty fruitful nite cum gathering then. Glad I made it. Wonder when's the nxt gathering gonna b. Perhaps a vball outing @ sentosa? Hope we all wun hafta wait for another 5 yrs jus for another gathering.

Tenderheart

The very moment I reached my desk at work this morning, there looking right at me in the eyes was this small lil brown bear. Sitting on my keyboard, oh, those innocent eyes, cheery smile with a small tongue sticking out, a big heart on its tummy, staring hard at me. The carebear stare! Oh my god! How on earth did a tenderheart carebear end up on my keyboard??? I was puzzled yet surprised n delighted. Though it may look a lil off-color, but still it's some treasure to me, a gift. Cute vintage carebear. Though im not really into such kinda thingy, think it belongs to the late 1980's.

Found out that it's a gift from my lady boss. She happened to be browsing thru some auctions in yahoo and came across that bear n decide to bid it for me. WOW! I'm so touched. *sniffs sniffs* I really m, serious!!! We used to catch a few episodes of the carebear cartoons on TV together sometimes [but a pity it's not showing anymore.. aww], so guess she must haf really tot im some kinda carebear fan. Well, actually im not really one. >_< tsk tsk... anyway as i was saying... I was really at a lost of words... she shld haf gotten me all the other carebears as well man.. haha.. jus kidding =p well.. made me kinda guilty man, furthermore she will treat my colleagues n i many-a-times to some tibits n food too. lucky us man. where can u go to get such a good lady boss or boss? hee... will see wat i can get for her when im out shopping one day then :) since xmas is approaching. oh boy do i love the holiday seasons. a pity there aint any snow here in singapore.

"new" car

My dad omost gave me a scare this afternoon. here's how it goes...

Suddenly received a call from me dad after lunch @ work today. He sounded kinda serious over the phone, and was speaking a lil softer than his usual tone. All I heard was some mumbles from him, something abt his car. I tot something happen to him and/or his car! Trying to remain calm, I got him to repeat what he had just said again. In the end I found out he's actually trying to tell me that he has jus bought a "new" car. a 2nd hand Toyota Corona~ Auto transmission type. Didnt sound like a new model/car to me, not the latest model or watever... wonder if i wld like this "new" car.. hmm but hey it's not me who's paying for it... so i shld b content okay!! dionk dionk!!

What's really really weird was this..... whilst having lunch with my colleagues earlier on, one of em was asking me when's my dad gonna be changing to an auto car. I told her not so soon as my dad only intends to change the car nxt spring. Hey hey hey!! N how did u noe... Not long after my dad called to deliver news abt his "new" car! Woo hoo hoo! Freaking eh... Guess it's time to buy some 4D... hahaha

hiak hiak... guess now I wld haf more ease driving this auto car instead of the previous manual car. No more gear changing, nor clutch to worry abt! Only brakes n accelerator!!! Can't wait to get my hands n feet on da car. >_<
